Corporate Identity Design :
Once you've got your new logo, you'll be keen to start letting the world see it! well designed business stationery is vital for making that important first impression on your customers. Your stationery will be seen and kept by customers and will have a substantial influence on the way they see and remember your business.
Corporate Identity is often viewed as being composed of three parts:
-Corporate Design
(logos, stationery, signage etc.).
-Corporate Communication
(advertising, literature, public relations, information etc.).
-Corporate Behaviour
(internal values etc.).
Before any design work is started in my graphic design studio in Sydney,answers are needed to a few fundamental questions:
-What are our company's overall goals?
-What is our strategy to achieve those goals?
-How do we want to be perceived by our target audience?
-How are we different from our competitors?
Many companies have a mission statement which sets out in a short concise statement what they are striving to achieve. This can be a good starting point.
Once these basics have been established it’s my job to interpret these visually and produce a visual identity that reflects the company and its goals. Once finalised a guideline document is produced that sets out all the elements of the identity and specifies how they are to be used and implemented.
